The George Foreman 360 Grill is not your as seen on TV cheap grill that uses the popularity of a celebrity to sell their product. This grill is well designed and ready to tackle your tough grilling like ribs and steaks but also Quesadillas and even pizza.

The George Foreman 360 Grill does a great job on a wide variety of foods for grilling and cooking with a unique and simple to use removable grill system. Each different plate comes off and snaps into place using a spring loaded catch on each side that locks the cooking plate on the base or lid.

The George Foreman 360 Grill comes with a regular grill upper and lower plate that has raised ribs for that grilled look for use with meat and other things. There are also two quesadilla plates for creating fresh grilled quesadillas on the 360 grill that works very well with a couple of tortilla shells some cheese and your other favorite ingredients.

The 360 Grill also comes with a flat Pizza/Bake pan that goes with the upper grill plate for pizza and some other interesting cooking techniques. You can make a thin crust pizza, dessert pizza or plenty of other dishes on the flat pan as long as food does not go over the lip of the pan.

The grill, quesadilla and pan plate setup has a top and bottom cooking surface and both plates contact your food or in the case of the pan comes pretty close. When using the pan and the upper grill plate the upper grill plate rests on the bottom pan so anything in the pan has to be below the edge of the pan so it does not stick to the upper grill plate.

The plates for grilling and cooking are all non stick coated so you don’t have to worry about food sticking or a tough cleanup and the grill is easy to wipe off itself after cooking. The George Foreman 360 Grill also comes with the manual for use that includes a few handy recipes, two grill scrapers and two drip trays.

The 360 Grill has a floating hinge so thicker food like nice thick steaks will have their larger thickness accomadated to keep the grill plates on the food as evenly as the top surface of the food is. The plates will rest on the food but with the floating hinge it will lay the top plate nicely across the food so you have the two cooking surfaces in contact and no need to flip your burgers, steaks or fish.

The 360 Grill is a great way to cook and grill foods that also drains as much of the fat out of the foods as possible by using a stand that flips in and out of position. When using the quesadilla or pan you can flip the angle bar in so the grill lays flat on your counter or flip it out and your grill pans will drain fat away from your meat into the drip tray.

The George Foreman 360 Grill has an adjustable heat setting that is great so you can use the right temperature for whatever foods you cook. I found for steaks and chicken the higher setting is better to get that grilled look but the medium to high works better for fish and vegetables.

You can cook a wide variety of foods using all three setups so you have to be imaginative as well as search the internet for recipe ideas. There are several of recipes out there including several on a George Foreman website but the grill begs to be experimented with.

If you can grill or cook it on a griddle you can probably do it on the 360 grill within reason, I found that pancakes don’t work well or just about anything that requires a higher temperature. The George Foreman 360 Grill does get too hot on the highest setting but I would guess it gets about 350 degrees as pancakes should cook well at about 375 degrees.

When I tried cooking pancakes it just took too long for them to get done but with most other foods like meats, and even vegetables the 360 Grill is great. For a quesadilla just pop on the quesadilla plates and toss a tortilla on the lower plate after preheating and throw on your favorite ingredient, the top torilla and close the lid.

It will take a few minutes to cook the quesadilla but it will brown nicely for a hot and cheesy wonderful tasting Mexican treat but you can also use scrambled eggs for a nice breakfast meal. How about some desserts using the pan and upper plate, try a pie crust you unroll in the bottom of the plate while the plate is warm and put on some pie filling, a crust or even some crisp topping and close the lid.

In twenty minutes or so you will have a dessert pizza or pie that is fantastic and easy to make without heating up your whole oven. One of the things that I like about the 360 Grill is being able to cook meats or other foods without using the larger oven but the cleanup of the grill is nice as well.

The hinge and adjustable angle for propping up the grill is all nicely open so cleaning up any splatter in all the parts of the grill is easy, unlike some other grills and even my waffle maker can be. The plates wash off in hot soapy water so dunking them or cleaning them in the dishwasher is fine while the grill with its heating elements can be wiped off.

The nonstick cooking surface is easy to clean, especially the grill that does not have too large of slots or protrusions that make cleaning the grilling plates difficult. A wipe with a scrubby, plastic only of course, takes care of the grill and a quick wipe of the grill body for that greasy splatter that will happen occasionally takes care of the rest.

The drip tray works well and is shaped like the grills bottom plate so your grease and fat drippings are nicely contained and easy to dispose of but having the second drip tray is great when making a couple of rounds of meat on the grill. I found it was quite easy to grill eight to ten fish steaks and pork steaks on the grill while other food for the meal was cooking on the stove top.

You can cook things like large mushrooms or peppers on the grill for that hot and grilled taste but it will not burn the peppers if you want the burn and then peel variety. I love cooking and finding different uses for the grill and other plates but have been trying to cut down on cholesterol, doctors orders. I have been doing great and eating a lot more fish and chicken and the George Foreman 360 Grill does a fantastic job with both.

A couple of chicken or fish steaks with a little olive oil and some seasoning placed on the hot grill for about five to seven minutes gives you some wonderful meals that are low in cholesterol. When you use the angle bar for angling the grill you let gravity pull the fat and grease away from your food but it does not dry out the food.

I have grilled steaks, fish, sausage and even bacon for some great meat dishes but also have experimented with pizza, omelets and desserts. The grill works great for most foods and you can really have fun with it and do some experimenting on your own but use a regular griddle for those pancakes.

The George Foreman 360 Grill is a great way to cook and the angle bar creates a wonderful way to get rid of the fat from your meats for a healthy meal. I am quite impressed with the George Foreman 360 Grill and would highly recommend it for anyone wanting a great and healthy way to cook meats and plenty of other dishes.
