My Experience
I have been using this eye cream every morning and evening for a month, and already I can see a visible difference in my face. It contains Cocoa Butter, organic Sweet Almond, Borage and Flax oils and Vitamin C. The antioxidants that it contains are a powerful mixture of Vitamins C, Vitamin E, Lemon Bioflavanoids, Melatonin, White Tea and Green Tea.
Only a very small amount of this cream is needed, and that’s why I love the pump applicator! It allows me to use the tinyest amount of cream so I don’t waste any of it! The cream glides smoothly onto my skin and is quickly absorbed, leaving absolutely no greasy feel. I don’t feel like I need to wash my hands afterward, like with some other creams I’ve used.
I have noticed a marked difference in how my face looks, especially right after applying this face cream. The fine lines are much less noticeable, making my skin feel firmer and more youthful. Will I ever look 25 again? Lets me real, of course not. But there are some things that I can do to help slow down the aging process as it relates to my skin. Using Avalon Revitalizing Eye Cream is one of those tools.
While the box states that this cream is unscented, I do detect a very slight pleasant scent. I believe they mean that they have not added any perfumes to the cream. The ingredients are of the highest quality. No toxic chemicals here, and this alone makes it well worth the $22.00 price tag. (I found it on sale at $16.00 at Vitamin Village).
Lavender is a natural antiseptic that will cleanse, balance, soothe and heal. Chamomile has soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, and is used in many natural skin care products which claim to lighten age spots. The green and white teas contain a great deal of antioxidants and as such will help protect skin from environmental toxins. They also not only strengthen but help repair the cells. Arnica is great for soothing inflammations of the skin, and helps promote circulation of the blood. Most people know that aloe is a great healer for the skin, as it’s used in many different sunscreens. This cream also contains vitamin E, which is a great moisturizer on it’s own, but it also acts as a natural preservative. There are different forms of Vitamin C, and some work better than others. Avalon Organics uses Magnesium Ascorbal Phosphate, a form of Vitamin C that is readily utilized by the skin. The company also claims that this Vitamin C will remain “active” for the entire shelf life of the eye cream. Not all companies can say that! Some high priced skin care creams have a shelf life of only 3-6 months! You will know if the product is past it’s prime, as it will start to turn brown. I know, because I have had it happen to me as well. I have used the Avalon Organics face cream for several months now, and it looks as fresh as the day I bought it!
When I read these ingredients, I know what they are. It’s not like reading another language! Avalon Organics makes superior products with superior ingredients. Not only that, they WORK. I am thrilled with my Eye Cream, and will continue to purchase it in the future. They are a company that I trust.
