Disney Pixar recently hosted the World Premiere of Finding Nemo 3D introducing a new generation to the underwater adventures of an unlikely duo as they navigate the vast oceans in hopes of reuniting father and son.

Finding Nemo 3D has the same fun loving, escape minded sea creatures as in the original Finding Nemo only now they are in stunning 3-D, with eye popping fluorescent shades of every color known in the deep that bounce from the screen, and immerse the viewer in aquatic life at the bottom of the sea.

The Oscar winning original Finding Nemo was executive produced by John Lasseter and directed by Andrew Stanton, from an original story by Stanton. For Finding Nemo 3D Joshua Hollander was brought on as Director of 3D production.

With the voice talent of the incomparable Albert Brooks as Marlin along with his faithful seafaring friend, Dory voiced by Ellen DeGeneres, Finding Nemo 3D also stars the voice talent of Willem Defoe as Gill, Brad Garrett as Bloat, Allison Janney as Peach, Vicki Lewis as Deb and her sister, Flo and also Geoffrey Rush as Nigel the Pelican.

Celebrities walked the Caribbean blue carpet, under a perfect golden sunset, as Hollywood Boulevard, leading to the El Capitan Theater, was transformed into a magical underwater world.

From the film Vicki Lewis explained how she was “cast” in Finding Nemo 3D . . .

Janet Walker: So when you got the part [as Deb and Flo] did you audition?

Vicki Lewis: You know here’s the interesting thing I didn’t. I auditioned for a Bug’s Life and they liked my voice so they saved my voice and kept putting it under things until they found the right thing and they said, ‘Oh they stuck it under Deb & Flo” and then they called me and offered the part to me.

With BT the DJ/Composer for the techno explosion for Partysauraus Rex . . .

JW: You got a rockin’ soundtrack.

BT: Yes. Thank you.

JW: Tell me how you came up with that?

BT: You know I want to say it was just a blast working with them. There is a high degree of specificity. They know what they want and that’s the greatest people to work with when they know what they’re looking for it can be so much fun because it is just all electronic music. It’s a real party the Pixar wave.

Also stopping by to chat for a moment were Kim Adams, Producer and Mark Walsh, Director for the newest installment to the Toy Story Family, Partysauraus Rex!

JW: Partysauraus Rex it’s phenomenal!

Kim Adams: You’ve seen it?

JW: Yes. I loved it. All I could think is I don’t know what they feed people up there because they are so creative and this takes it to the next level, I thought. I loved it! Tell me about making it.

Mark Walsh: I started with Pixar in 1997, I worked on a lot of movies and Toy Story is one of my favorite and Rex is my favorite of the Toy Story characters. I wanted to do something that revolved around Rex because he so big; he’s smart but he’s aloof enough to get himself in a bad situation. And in Partysauraus Rex he tries to reinvents himself as a part animal when he is taken to the bath with the bath toys who are party animals in and of themselves

Chosen, for the dreaded bath experience, is Rex, the Tyrannosaurus plastic mold, who is just not celebrated by Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the gang. He’s a big clumsy oaf. But in tub time he rocks! He is the man! He turns bath time into party time.
