3X1 inch white ribbon.

2 cups of crystal clear water for the floating candles

Instructions

1. Place the 10 inches tall cylinder vase on platter and proceed to glue it down.

2. Fill all 3 vases with the decorative stones, ensuring that the bottoms are completely covered with the stones.

3. Proceed to fill the 2 small vases with water and float the candles on top of the water. The green stones will show beautifully through the glass.

4. Cut 2 pieces of the gold cord 4!/2 inches in length, coil the cord around the bottom of two smaller vases as tightly as possible. Proceed to glue the base of the vases with hot glue gun to secure the cord. Do the same for the larger vase, using the remaining gold cord.

5. Cut 12 -6 inch pieces of ribbons, and form into a flower by folding in each piece of ribbon in half, mark the center with a pen, lay two pieces perpendicular to each other, it should look like a “plus” sign, line up the centers, they should dissect each angle of the “plus” sign. Glue each section with the hot glue gun and proceed to place a pearl in the center. You should have 6 flowers and two tails (3 inches on each tail) for each flower, they should hang and curled with a scissors. Each flower should be approximately 3X3 inches.

6. Tie one of the ribbon flowers around the neck of the bottle, the ends of the ribbon could be notched or slanted. Push the silk flowers behind the bow, keeping them pointed towards the top or bottom, depending on what you’ll prefer. You may cut the stems to lengthen as needed and only if they are visible. Use the white ribbon to tie the wedding rings glue to the bottle decoration and place in a very visible area. Place the decorated bottle of wine or cider in the center of the large vase. You may want to place it over a piece of cardboard a little large than the size of the bottom of the bottle, to help stabilize it over the rocks.

7. Place the silk flowers on the platter and avoid placing them in a row, try to offset them, so that they can look casual more pleasing to the eye. Inset the ribbon flowers throughout the silk flowers and around the platter, make your own aesthetic design. Or follow the example in the picture. Place some greenery under the edge of the plate and scatter other leaves types. Light the candles right before dinner.

Of course, it’s entirely up to you to decide what’s best for the occasion, keep in mind that if making your own decorations you may save some money but not time, envision the whole project and if it’s your style, make it happen. You may just find yourself walking down the isle faster than you ever thought possible!
