We have at great expense, visited these casinos to offer what we believe are the top 3 casinos in Florida.
Number 3: The Seminole Hard Rock Casino located in Tampa. This casino is a favorite among seniors who claim they’re on a fixed income; especially when they arrive by bus or with tour groups. The Hard Rock Casino, when arriving by bus offer to the players $25 free play and a $5 food voucher. There is a 5 hour stay required which allows enough time to visit one of the restaurants or food courts and still get back to your favorite slot machine. The Green Room is a very good restaurant that offer extremely large portions for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Fresh Harvest is a buffet style restaurant that is basically seven restaurants in one. Even Mikey can find something he likes there. Highest quality and service of any casino restaurant in the country. There are plenty of table games, slot machines, and poker tables to try your luck at. Daily drawings can be entered into with the swipe of your players card as you earn points that can be redeemed later for food, hotel stays, and merchandise. When visiting Tampa allow some time for lunch and fun at the Hard Rock. Staying overnight at the hotel can be quite expensive. However, as a player the casino tracks your playing history and offer discounts and at times free stays. There is a very nice swimming pool for hotel guests as well as a nice gift shop. Parking is ample and the hotel offers valet.
Number 2: Seminole Gaming Palace & Casino. Considerably smaller than The Tampa Hard Rock this casino located in Immokalee Florida seems to offer what we call looser slots. Payouts seem to be larger and more often than other casinos. There is no data to support that claim but I too have to admit that seems to be the case. The restaurant is small but is still quite good with great service. Groups also receive $30 free play and $7.50 food voucher. We ranked this casino at number 2 due to the atmosphere and smaller size which gives the casino a less busy rush feel than the larger casinos. There is a variety of slot machines which include many popular penny games as well as higher limit machines. There is no parking garage however valet parking is available for those rainy days. This casino has no hotel so this casino is basically used for day or night visits.
Number 1: The Seminole Hard Rock Casino located in Hollywood Florida gets our number 1 vote as the best Casino in Florida. Offering over 2500 slot machines and over 80 table games you are sure to find a game to your liking. Black Jack, 3 Card Poker, Let it Ride, Pai Gow, Baccarat, and Mini Baccarat are all offered. As in all card games in Florida you must be at least 21 to play. When your table or machine goes cold you can take a stroll and visit one of the eighteen specialty shops or eat at the many restaurants, food court, or simply rest a bit at one of the wine bars, while enjoying some live entertainment. In the evening the Improv Comedy Club is a favorite hot spot featuring top entertainment. Live shows are offered that have had the likes of Aretha Franklin and other famous Hollywood performers. Groups are also welcome and receive different free play and food vouchers with a minimum stay of 5 hours. Hotel prices again can be pricey, however hotel specials are offered quite often.
