Priority Club Rewards Program – Travelers Benefits

British Airways

Attention travelers! You can get perks for staying at select hotels by joining the Priority Club Rewards Program. Similar to Frequent Flier Miles offered by airlines, hotels like Holiday Inn are giving and exchanging points for staying at their establishments.

The points never expire, there are no blackout dates, points are transferable, and the points are redeemable for more than just hotel stays. Earning points is easy. First you sign up at a participating hotel or at www.priorityclub.com. Then let the points add up.

Once you are a registered member you book your hotels through the Reservation Desk online. Points are earned for every dollar charged to your room. You can also earn points utilizing program partners such as Hertz, H&R; Block, Office Max, The Sharper Image, plus many more.

Just one of the benefits of joining is earning free night stays-you can earn a free night with as little as 10,000 points. Point redemption is also available at rival hotels so you are not locked into using a plan hotel. You can also use your points towards the purchase of merchandise at participating providers. Additionally, you get the weekday newspaper, extended check out hours, the ability to purchase more points, and you are upgradeable to Elite membership. Many of the hotels also offer free buffets and beverages to their priority club members.

If you don’t like the idea of points you have options. You can collect miles or other partner credits. Also, you can convert your points into miles. This club offers you a win/win situation.

You can upgrade your status to one of the elite memberships, either Gold or Platinum. Gold members get everything a regular member gets, plus extra point earning power by 10%, and guaranteed priority check-in. This upgrade to Gold status can occur through 15 qualifying night stays, earning 20,000 points in one year, or by purchasing it for a $50 annual fee.

Platinum members get it all plus 50% more on points, room upgrades, room availability guarantees, and more. Staying 50 qualifying nights or earning 60,000 points during a year will earn you Platinum status.

Hotels currently using this loyalty reward plan are InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites, and Candlewood Suites.

Airlines included in the plan are American, Continental, Delta, Southwest, British Airways, Air France, plus many more. For the complete list of participants, or for more details, you should check out the Priority Club Website.
