The dungeon master will give a phrase such as “you are in a field and see a wagon in the distance.” The players will then decide their course of action, such as “We will sneak up on the wagon to attempt to gain more information.” Then, they will roll a 20-sided die to see how sneaky and quiet they are. If they roll low, they will be louder and probably alert the people in the wagon. Then, play can continue like this or into combat or conversation. As players get more experience points, they will become stronger and more powerful.
Dungeons and Dragons players are sometimes a little odd, which makes people think badly of them. Some people dress up like the character that they choose to play. This is a little far for most players, as most players prefer to use only their imagination and not physical props.

It is not a dangerous game at all. It is nourishing to a child’s mind, as long as it doesn’t go too far.
