A word of caution when applying organic lawn fertilizer to your lawn or garden:
Although organic and non toxic, always use a mask of some type during the application of organic fertilizer to your lawn. Unless you choose a liquid form, there will be small particles of fertilizer in the form of dust. Inhaling these dust particles should be avoided as they can irritate your lungs and the delicate mucous membranes throughout your respiratory tract.

Organic fertilizers are a great choice for helping to protect our environment, and promoting “green living”. They are much healthier for us, our family and our pets. If you are feeling really creative, you may want to look into composting, and creating your very own blend of organic material that will be rich in nutrients and safe for the world, your family and your gardens or yard. Although, it may not smell too pretty!
