Pepsi Stuff and My Coke Rewards

Coke Rewards, Pepsi

Drink soda and get rewarded! Both the Pepsi Company and the Coca-Cola Company are running a current promotion with generally the same idea. The promotion is that when you put in codes from your soda tops, labels or boxes that you get points. These points add up if you drink a lot of soda. Once you reach a certain amount you are eligible to receive Pepsi Stuff or things from your My Coke Rewards store.

Both Pepsi and Coke seem to have a great following so it is great that they want to reward those who drink them endlessly. The rewards are comparable on each site. They consist of coupons, sweepstakes, music, magazines and stuff from t-shirts to electronic gear. Pepsi teamed up with Amazon for this promotion. It is unclear who Coca-Cola has teamed up with.

When you earn enough points to redeem items they are shipped to you very quickly. After redeeming at each site your balance is updated and you will receive a message that says pending, confirmed, processing and finally shipped. This happens very quickly for both Pepsi Stuff and Coke Rewards. You can expect your stuff in 2 to 10 business days. This often depends on the item you receive. You may get magazines later as subscriptions can take up to 4 weeks so you get a current issue.

These companies are both doing their part to get you to drink Pepsi and Coca-Cola. The more you drink, the more points you get and thus more rewards. There is a down side to your Coke Rewards though. They expire within a few months so you need to use them pretty quickly. Pepsi however lets you build up your account without the worry of your points being deleted before the end of the promotion period.

For each 20oz. and 16oz. bottles of Coke you buy you will get 3 points. 12 packs receive 10 points. For Pepsi 20oz and 24oz. bottles of Pepsi gain you 1 point. 12 packs here earn you 3 points. It may seem that since Coke is offering the higher points that you would go with their rewards. After comparing the 2 promotional sites this is not the best way to go. You wind up drinking the same amount to earn the same kind of rewards for each site. The point system on the rewards equals out for the item. The only difference on some of the items is that you will have Pepsi on one site and Coca-Cola on the other site.

Pepsi and Coca-Cola both are doing a pretty good promotion. They are rewarding you for something you probably already do. Being a fan on one company you may feel you want to stay with them for rewards. If not, find which one you like better or do both. You can’t go wrong when you get rewards for buying either companies product.
