Updated 2010 NFL Mock Draft

2010 NFL, Mock Draft

Take a look at who I have your favorite team predicted to take in this updated 2010 nfl mock draft and make a comment with your opinion.

Here is my updated 2010 NFL Mock Draft:

1.Tampa Bay- Ndamukong Suh DT Nebraska

Tampa Bay has some holes everywhere and will go for the best available player. In this updated 2010 NFL Mock Draft, Suh is that top player. Suh is the top talent on the defensive line in college football.

2. St. Louis – QB Jake Locker Washington

The Rams are in desperate need of a quarterback and Locker is the top prospect at this point. Sam Bradford would have been this choice had he been healty. This updated 2010 mock draft has Locker as the first quarterback off the board.

3. Detroit Lions- Gerald McCoy DT Oklahoma

With McCoy going with the third pick of the 2010 NFL Mock draft, he becomes the first Oklahoma Sooner taken on draft day. The Sooners are loaded with talent and look for Detroit to again be looking to upgrade either side of the ball with the best player available.

4. Kansas City Chiefs-Russell Okung OT Oklahoma State

Okung is one of the top tackle prospects in football and should make any NFL owner happy to have him on their roster. The Chiefs need to protect Cassel and I have them selecting a tackle to do just that in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.

5. Tennessee Titans- Tim Tebow QB Florida

Tebow is a born leader and winner. Expect Tennessee to attempt to rebuild there franchise with Tebow leading the way.

6. Cleveland Browns – Eric Berry S Tennessee

Call me crazy but at this point I have Berry getting selected ahead of Mays from USC. Berry seems to be the better tackler who could turn into one of those run stopper Safeties in the NFL Expect Berry to be the first DB off the board on draft day just like he was in this updated 2010 NFL Mock draft.

7. Miami Dolphins-Terrance Cody DT Alabama

Look for the Dolphins to take a step back in 2009 and be looking for a defensive upgrade going into the 2010 NFL draft. My mock draft has them taking Cody a top nose tackle prospect for the NFL.

8. Buffalo Bills- Sam Bradford QB- Oklahoma

Buffalo might be looking to upgrade there quarterback position in the 2010 NFL draft. Bradford will slip some in the draft because of his injury but I still have him being picked in the top 10 at this point.

9. San Francisco 49ers ( From Carolina)- Taylor Mays S USC

Mays is a playmaker for USC. He really flies to the ball. San Francisco would do great to grab Mays at this point in the draft.

10. Seattle Seahawks- Jimmy Clausen- QB Notre Dame

Seattle will likey miss the playoffs again in 2009 and will be looking for a future quarterback if a good one presents itself. Clausen is a good NFL prospect with a strong arm and might make the top 10 in the draft just like he did in this updated 2010 NFL mock draft.

11. Oakland Raiders- Bryan Bulaga OT Iowa

Here goes another offensive tackle from Iowa to Oakland. Guys like Bulaga are rare to come by and teams will be watching him in the combines heading into the 2010 NFL draft.

12. Jacksonvilee Jaguars- Colt McCoy QB Texas

McCoy continues the run on quarterbacks in the 2010 NFL Draft. Poor teams continually look for that field general that can take them to the next level. Could McCoy do this for Jacksonville?

13. Washington Redskins –Dez Bryant WR Oklahoma State

The first wideout taken in this updated 2010 NFL Mock draft is Bryant. He is an elite talent and could excel in the NFL if he can stay out of trouble.

14. New York Jets- Trent Williams OT Oklahoma.

Full of talen, Williams is the third sooner taken in this updated 2010 NFL mock draft. The offensive line is always well represented in the first round of most drafts.

15. San Francisco 49ers- Greg Hardy DE Mississippi

Another top prospect on the defensive line, Hardy would be a good fit for San Francisco as they continue to build there defense in this 2010 NFL mock draft. Remember who there coach is!

16. Green Bay Packers- CJ Spiller RB Clemson

The Packers have their QB of the future with Rodgers but are not sold on Grant at running back. Expect them to take Spiller as an insurance policy if given the chance just like I picked for them in this 2010 NFL Mck Draft.

17. Denver Broncos ( From Chicago)- Derrick Morgan DE Georgia Tech

Denver has a defense that loves to attack the quarterback. Look for them to take another quarterback stalker in Morgan.

18. Baltimore Ravens- Arrelious Benn WR Illinois

The Ravens roll with Flacco at quarterback and would love to throw the ball more. Benn would give Flacco another target if taken in the 2010 NFL draft by Baltimore.

19. San Diego Chargers- Mike Williams WR Syracuse

San Diego will continue to try to give Rivers as many weapons as possible as they become a pass first team

20. Houston Texans- Joe Haden CB Florida

Houston is stacked on the offensive side of the ball and in this mock draft I have them drafting a cornerback. The first true cornerback is taken in Haden.

Picks 21-32 of my updated 2010 NFL Mock Draft

21. Philadelphia Eagles- Travis Lewis LB Oklahoma
22. Atlanta Falcons- Bruce Campbell OT Maryland
23. Cincinnati Bengals- Jermaine Gresham TE Oklahoma
