With all the pool parties and beach parties that will be held this summer you want your Pool Party to be remembered.

You can make your pool party invitations so unique that they will be talked about all summer long. Be creative and send out invitations that no one else has because you will make them yourself. The following Beach Ball Pool Party Invitation is unique, creative and simple to make.

Beach Ball Pool Party Invitation

You will need the following items which can be purchased at any dollar store:

Small inflatable beach balls – the quantity required will be determined by the number of guests you plan to invite

Water proof marker in black

White tissue paper

8 ½ x 11 mailing envelopes

Step-by-Step Instructions

Blow up all the beach balls

Use the water proof marker to write directly on the beach ball:

Date and Day of the pool party, example: Sunday, June 28th

Time the party begins and ends, example: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

RSVP, example: Cindy 555-1234

Give the marker time to dry then deflate the beach balls. With the writing facing you put a folded sheet of white tissue paper over the beach ball. The tissue paper will stop the ball from sticking together. Carefully fold the beach ball and place each one in a mailing envelope and take them to the post office. If you are inviting neighborhood friends or co-workers, you can hand deliver the invitations and save some money. Be sure to send out your Pool Party Invitations at least two weeks ahead of time.

Easy Food Selections for your Pool Party

A make your own Submarine Sandwich Bar is easy and fun. Your local grocery stores sell sub style rolls. Buy more than you think you will need, as you can freeze leftover rolls. Plan on several types of cold cuts including ham, roast beef and turkey. Get some tuna for the non-meat eaters. Cheese is next with white, yellow or Swiss and then some shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes. You can make up the serving platters in the morning, cover them tightly with plastic wrap and store in the fridge until its time to eat.

When it’s time to eat put the service platters on your picnic table and add mustard and mayo in the squeeze bottles along with your oil and vinegar, salt and pepper and any other additions like sliced olives or mushrooms. A pound of store bought potato salad , cole slaw and a big bag of Sun Chips can round out the Submarine Sandwich Bar menu.

For an easy desert item, the evening before the party make a large pan of brownies. Serve them with vanilla ice cream or vanilla frozen yogurt for a quick and delicious ending to your Pool Party menu.
