How to Style a Short Angled Bob

Hot Rollers

Here is a how to guide for the 4 hottest styles for short hair that is straight, flat, and cut as an angled bob.

Lets go and gather up the correct tools, we don’t want to improvise here. For these four styles you will need clean short hair, moose, gel, and hairspray. Basically you need to put whatever you need to put in your hair to make it manageable. Also you will need jumbo hot rollers, the amount varies on how much hair you have, small or medium barrel curling iron, a cute barrette.

As always when working with hot appliances be careful not to burn yourself, and do not use hot rollers or curling irons on wet hair. Also be careful not to get your hair tangled, if this happens get help, don’t just rip your hair out.

LETS STYLE!

1. Criss Cross Will Make You Jump Jump: Make a left of center part, and make a loose twist in a one-inch section of hair from the front of the left side of your part. Stick this hair in place with a bobby pin. Make and secure another one-inch twist from the hair in the middle of the left side of your part. Then secure the piece of hair with a bobby pin just behind where you secured the first twist. Take a two-inch section of hair from the back of the right side of your part and loosely pull it around the back of your head to the left side. Lastly, fasten the piece of hair with a bobby pin in the same place you secured the first twist.

2. Twisted Upfront: Create a part that runs straight back from your left temple, across the back of your head, and around to the right temple. In other words separate the top and bottom sections of hair. Divide the section of hair it creates at the top of your head into four smaller, equal-sized sections. Twist each section straight back until just after the original part, then secure each twist with a bobby pin or barrette. I’d use a barrett, short hair can be cute too.

3. Flapper Chic: Use jumbo hot rollers to create loose wavy curls all over your head. Create a deep side part on the left side of your head. Smooth the left side of your hair back and behind your ear using a lightweight gel.

4. Curly Baby: Use a small- or medium-barrel curling iron to create curls all over your head.
Separate a two-inch section of hair from the middle of your hairline. Smooth it straight back until about three inches from your hairline and secure it there with a bobby pin, letting the curly ends hang loose. Repeat all along your entire hairline, including at the back of your neck. Spray the entire style lightly with hairspray and scrunch the curls with your fingers to create a messy look.
