The economy has made it a necessity to change the way we spend. Zooming off to other lands by plane was the norm. In the past, far more travelers chose to travel by air than land. For some, travel by bus was never even a consideration. Yet, now more than ever, we are finding that travel by bus can be well worth the price and much more cost efficient. Traveling by bus is a much cheaper option to air travel. While the time required to reach your destination will take longer, the savings can far offset the time requirement.

Have you ever stood in line at a grocery store? It seems like ages before you get to checkout unless you spend your time doing other things rather than just standing. It has always been true that “times flies when you are having fun’.

Remember there are some who do not nor ever will purchase or use a computer.

With a little planning, you could spend your entire trip catching up on recent blockbuster hits.

Love to listen to music? Maybe you like jazz, gospel, country western or whatever tweaks your fancy. Take along an earphone, your Ipod or a portable radio and dance the time away. Of course, make sure your music is low if you do not have earphones. You do not want to be rude to other travelers.

Traveling by bus can be advantageous. Of course, some of us just love to sleep while traveling. If this is the case, take along a blanket and a pillow.
