How to Win at Craps by Playing the Field

Let’s face it with any casino game the odds are against you in almost every way, the casino doesn’t want to lose. There isn’t a lot you can do about it except try to make the odds a little more in your favor. I have found a way to almost even the odds when playing Craps, but only if you have the discipline to be patient and stick to a system.

If you think you can stick to a system and not let your emotions get into the game then you are almost sure to be successful and at the very least not lose your money. Now of course with any gambling you are taking a chance and you should think long and hard before you try out this system, it’s not a 100% and you can lose a lot of money if you aren’t careful. Having said that you know the risk that you are taking now let’s talk probability.

That is all we are talking about when we play the Craps field. The field in Craps consists of the numbers 2, 3, 4, 10, 11 and 12, where 2 and 12 pay double your money and the others pay even. If the dice are rolled and any of the above numbers are rolled then you win, if the other numbers 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are rolled you lose your money. Now the odds are already a little in your favor you get 6 numbers that if rolled mean you win, and only 5 that mean you lose.

Now I have a simple system that takes time to work but normally allows you to stay ahead most of the time. First when you get to the table you see who the roller is, watch them when they throw three non-winning rolls in a row then you put $5 in the field. Now the probability of the thrower throwing a winning number is very good, if they throw a winning field number take your winnings and wait for the thrower to throw three non-winners again and then bet $5 in the field again, repeat as long as you keep winning.

Now if you place a $5 bet after the three non-winning throws and the thrower still throws a losing number then the next throw you will want to double your last bet. So if your last bet was $5 put down $10 in the field, now the thrower has 4 non-winning throws and the odds are even more in your favor that they will throw a winning number. You continue this betting system until you win again, so $5, $10, $20, $40, $80, $160 and so on. It can get expensive but the odds of a thrower throwing 9 losing numbers is very low, this of course is just a law of probability its doesn’t mean it cant happen. You will want to make sure you have enough funds to cover your butt if this sort of thing does happen. Most tables have a $1000 max which means that a thrower would have to go on one hell of a hot losing number streak to make you dump that much cash on the table.

This system has a few other rules to go with it, first if a thrower craps out you must start over with your non-winning throws count. So if a roller has 2 non-winning throws and craps out then you start back at zero for the new roller. This system takes time and a lot of patience but when I have stuck to the system I have never had a bad night of Craps. It seems lame and boring but seriously if you look at the odds which are always in the casinos favor, you are greatly swaying the odds in your favor. Of course probability is not an exact science and strange things could potentially happen. A thrower could roll 40 non-winning numbers in a row the probability of that is like .03% but still it can happen.

The system works and by doubling your bet each play when you do win you are sure to come out ahead. In order for the system to work you must have patience and you will want to make sure you have plenty of money so you can stay ahead in the game. You can potentially lose hundreds before winning another play and getting back out in the lead. Give this system a shot it hasn’t lead me astray yet, if you have the guts and the money this system will help even the odds in Craps.
