Kasiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center uses volunteers to work in the Gift Shop, Pediatric Department, Personal Service Escorts and Greeters. With more training, there may even be other volunteer opportunities to work at. The Oakland Medical Center allows students and adults to volunteer. Students have to be at least 14 years old. Volunteer hours are from 8 AM to 7 PM and you can pick a 3 or 4 hour shift. You must volunteer at least one day a week.
