With the Atlanta Falcons looking like real Super Bowl contenders, fans are chomping at the bit to get the playoff run started. Before the Falcons can set their sights on either the Green Bay Packers or the San Francisco 49ers, they have to get past the Seattle Seahawks and rookie quarterback sensation Russell Wilson. When it’s time for kickoff you can rest assured that the Falcons fans will be flocking to the rowdiest sports bars around to watch the big game. Whether you’re looking to go and cheer the Dirty Birds on with other Falcons fans or just looking to heckle a few of the Falcons faithful, here is a list of some great spots to watch the Falcons make a run for the Lombardi Trophy.
Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar – Stonecrest Mall
Let the wife do a little shopping during the game while you go and down a few pints! Buffalo’s at Stonecrest Mall is one of the hottest sports spots in Georgia and the Falcons fans that frequent this place are insane. This has got to be the unofficial smacking talking capital for Atlanta Falcons fans. Want to have an interesting time while there? Wear a New Orleans Saints jersey and you’re sure to get an ear full of the best that Falcons fans have to offer.
Hooters – Norcross
Hooters in Norcross is an insane asylum for Falcons fans. One step inside during a Falcons game and you’ll see what I’m talking about. There is Falcons memorabilia all over this spot. Combine that with great wings, beer and of course the world famous Hooters waitresses and you have the perfect marriage of fun and playoff football. Just don’t wear your Seahawks gear inside or you may never come out.
Tony’s is an interesting spot as they proclaim to be the Falcons nest and the pod for Dolphins fans (I know it’s crazy). I’ll tell you this though, these Falcons fans are loyal. Tony’s puts the game on a big theater type screen and it’s also the home of my favorite wings in Atlanta. If the games a blowout then go play a game on one of Tony’s free pool tables.
Jock’s & Jill’s Sports Grill – Atlanta, GA
This place has it all. Great food and great service combined with TV’s in every corner of the building. What makes Jock’s and Jill’s fun for the Falcons fan is the competition. For every game the Falcons play, you can count on fans of the competition to be there. This provides for fun competitive spirits in the bar and you will always have a good time.
Fox Sports Grill – Atlanta
The Fox Sports Grill is hands down one of Atlanta’s Best Sports Bars. The food and service that you get here rivals that of a five star restaurant. The television sets are always perfectly tuned and each one is angled to give everyone a great shot. It’s a really cool Falcons crowd here and they act like they’ve been there before (even if they haven’t).
