Free Afghan Knitting Pattern #1 – Arabesque: This is such a pretty afghan. And you make it one hexagon at a time. So it makes a great afghan to knit while you travel or while wait in an office because you don’t need to carry the entire afghan with you. All you need to carry are enough supplies to knit a few hexagons at a time. This hexagon print looks like mosaic. It also has a lacy knit built in. It is considered intermediate level. However, if you don’t like circular needles, you can use straight needles as long as they are long enough to hold all the stitches. This afghan is made in one piece and in one solid color.
