Alpine Mountain is a Ski Resort in the Pocono mountains and has 21 trails from easiest to most difficult with 5 chair lifts. There is snowboarding, tubing, half pipe, a terrain park and Nordic Skiing as well. They have many specials available and you can check them out right on the front page of the web site. On site they have a lounge and at the lodge a cafeteria and a pizza shop.

Tanglewood is one of the smallest ski resorts in the Poconos and one of the most family friendly. It is a great place to come to learn in an uncrowded environment. They have 10 trails with 4 lifts, 2 tows and 2 double chairs. The trails range from beginner to most difficult.
When you need a break from the slopes, stop in at the mountain top lodge for homemade pies, a variety of sandwiches and salads and other favorites. There is also a lounge for when you just want to stop for a drink.
