Little Sahara

Located in NW Oklahoma, there are over 1400 acres of sand dunes just waiting for you to ride them. The dunes were created over 11,000 years ago. There are 212 campsites with hook ups for your RV. You can either take your own ATV’s or you can rent from one of the many rental companies. This is a pure adrenaline filled experience that should not be missed and costs $10 per day to access the dunes.

Black Mesa

The Black Mesa is located in the Panhandle of Oklahoma along the tri state border. The Mesa formed over 30 million years ago and gets its name from the black lava rock that used to cover it. The Mesa is the highest point in Oklahoma and visitors can walk to the summit of 4,973 feet. The scenery is stunning and it is a must visit area of Oklahoma.

Turner Falls

Turner Falls is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Hidden away in the Arbuckle Mountains, Turner Falls is a very popular tourist destination; it is also the oldest park in Oklahoma. A beautiful 77ft waterfall is the main attraction. The area of over 1400 acres has been compared to areas such as the Grand Canyon in regards to the terrain that provides an excellent geological view into the past. Whether you are staying in one of the many cabins, or if you are just visiting for the day, Turner Falls will be one of the most beautiful parks you will ever visit.

Talimena Scenic Drive

The Talimena Scenic Drive is one of the best kept secrets in the United States. There are unparalleled levels of pure beauty along the 54 mile stretch of road that stretches across the top of the Ouachita Mountains, in western Oklahoma to just over the Arkansas border. You will have your breath taken away, countless times and the stunning landscape unfolds before your eyes. OKC Bombing Memorial

In 1995, one of the worst terrorist attacks in the country’s history took place in Oklahoma City, when Timothy McVeigh bombed the Alfred P Murrah Building. Now, standing in place of the building, is a beautiful memorial, that is dedicated to the 168 lives that were lost on that April day. The memorial is one of the most beautiful you will ever see. The Gates of Time make us remember the time of the attack and the Field of Empty Chairs, help us remember the lives that were lost. The bombing memorial is a must visit site for anyone who comes to Oklahoma. The memorial is open 24/7, 365 days a year, while the museum is open Monday – Saturday 9am 6pm and Sunday from 1pm until 6pm.
