10 Best Places to Eat in Waco, Texas

Bari, Chicken Fried Steak, Waco, Waco Texas

Waco, Texas is full of great places to eat! From large chains to small “mom-and-pop” restaurants, there is a wide variety of eateries and something for everyone. This list gives a summary and contact information for 10 of Waco’s best restaurants.

1. Health Camp: With a cuisine that could not be further from its namesake, Health Camp undoubtedly offers some of the best burgers and shakes in the area. A cheeseburger will cost you around $3.90, whereas a Bacon Cheeseburger runs at just under $5. A combo menu is also available, and trust me it will be hard to walk out without some of their delicious fries or thick milkshakes. Health Camp also offers grilled cheeses, hot dogs, and sundaes. One of my absolute favorite meals in Waco: Bacon Cheeseburger, fries, and a coffee milkshake from Health Camp.
