Bumble and Bumble Creme De Coco Conditioner – Review

Bumble and Bumble

Bumble and Bumble is a designer brand of hair products that I recently learned about. I was given a box of freebies recently, and honestly I had never heard of Bumble and Bumble before I was given this box containing a bunch of Bumble and Bumble products.

I was excited to give this new brand a try, I wanted to see just what this Bumble and Bumble company had to offer.

I figured that the shampoos and conditioners included were cheap, due to the boring packaging. However when I looked the company up online, I discovered that Bumble and Bumble products are a bit pricey. I figured the more pricey the better it will work.

Todays focus is on Bumble and Bumble Creme De Coco Conditioner.

Packaging:

Bumble and Bumble Creme De Coco Conditioner comes in a cloudy yet transparent stand up bottle with a standard click cap. There is truly nothing special about the packaging, it’s actually quite boring looking, and even gave off the impression that it was so no name dollar store brand. The label is a honey yellow/orange color with a Bb logo for Bumble and Bumble.

Scent:

The thing that I liked about it though when I popped the top was the scent. It smelled like realistic fresh coconut. It’s definitely a summer scent that any coconut lover will adore. I’m not much of a coconut lover myself, but seeing how they did such a great job at capturing a realistic coconut scent, I had to love it.

The Promise:

Bumble and Bumble Creme De Coco Conditioner promises to manage tangles. soothe your locks, and add a lovely sparkling shimmer. The promise was pretty vague on the bottle. I have learned though that low key descriptions actually give more than what is described.

My Use:

After shampooing I applied half a handful of Bumble and Bumble Creme De Coco Conditioner to my wet hair and let it sit for about 3 minutes or more. As I rinsed I could already feel a slight difference. My hair felt silky and it was definitely tangle free.

The true test though is the after party my hair has as it dries. Would Bumble and Bumble Creme De Coco Conditioner keep frizz at bay? Would my hair shine like a shimmery star? Would the tangle free hair stay tangle free as it dried?

The Final Results:

I got poof. Lots of poof. I have thick wavy hair that for the most part is unruly and frizzy if I do not straighten it. I let my hair air dry after showering though just because I do not like applying blow dryer heat followed by hair straightener heat. That is just too much for my hair to handle.

Bumble and Bumble Creme De Coco Conditioner as I stated, left my hair poofy, smelling like a coconut paradise, and tangle free. I hated the poof effect I got from it, but for the most part my hair felt clean, it did shine, and it was left with a nice fragrance.

The poof was nothing my straightener couldn’t tackle.

After straightening, my hair was left soft, shiny, and smelling gorgeous. The poof? Gone.

Overall:

Bumble and Bumble Creme De Coco Conditioner is a decent conditioner. It does not preform miracles, but it did do an okay job with my hair. When I learned the price of Bumble and Bumble Creme De Coco Conditioner though I can say that it should of definitely done a bit more than what it actually did.

After learning that Bumble and Bumble Creme De Coco Conditioner comes to nearly $21.00 a bottle. I doubt I would buy it again for that price. If you have the spare money though it is a decent conditioner that you may want to try.

Where To Buy:

I have never seen Bumble and Bumble being sold in any stores where I am from. I was though able to track it down online.
