Bowling Crafts
Bowling crafts are one of my all-time favorite party favors because they also give the kids something fun to do. You’d be surprised at how inexpensive the bowling crafts are too. I’d recommend that you consider purchasing solid, wooden bowling pins or bowling pin cut outs that the kids can decorate with paints. In my experience, a case of 10 solid bowling pins will cost you less than $6 through specialty craft retailers. There are even some craft stores that will include the paints as part of a ready-made bowling craft kit.
If you do decide to go with the bowling pin cut outs, you’ll also want to pick up a bag of silver pin backs, glue sticks and a hot glue gun. That way you can covert the bowling pin cut outs into an actual pin that the kids can wear on their shirts or jackets. The pin backs, glue sticks and glue gun are available for purchase through most major craft stores as well.
Depending on the party guests’ ages, you may want to consider tossing a few bowling pin key chains inside the loot bags. Bowling pin key chains come in several forms. I know of bowling pin key chains that double as flashlights. There are also bowling pin key chains that double as pens. Most are available for less than $1 apiece through carnival and party supply shops. Retailers where you can find such items include Century Novelty and Bowling Delights.
Based on my experience, major party shops tend to sell a wide array of bowling toys and games that would be perfect for loot bags. Items that you may want to consider purchasing are pro bowler figurines, miniature bowling sets and bowling paddleboard games. In my experience, a case of each tends to sell for $14 or less.
Bowling Stationary Supplies
Bowling stationary supplies are also worth considering especially if the party is taking place during the school year. Most party supply shops have a wealth of bowling themed stationary supplies to choose from for less than $10 a case. Items to consider investing in are bowling pin shaped pens, bowling stickers, bowling pencils and bowling notepads.
