All-Natural Home Remedies to Get Rid of Acne

Acne Remedies

Have a big date or occasion coming up and here you are looking in the mirror staring at this protruding thing sticking out of your face. Not to worry I have come with some simple home remedies that are quick, easy, cheap or free.

What can cause Acne is something we hear a lot of the time but did you know that acne or pimples are caused by hormonal changes, wrong food habits and improper skin care. The acne remedies I have listed below are based on herbs and natural ingredients that treat your acne like magic and help improve the skin disorders.

Here are three fast acting pimple reduction treatments; the first treatment is one of the most popular and the best in my opinion. Use paste not gel toothpaste before bed and it will be much less swollen in the morning. The second best treatment for reduction is to ice down your pimple. Hold an ice cube or very cold cloth to your face for fifteen to twenty minutes. The third and less common reduction treatment is to place strawberry leaves on the acne, the alkalinity helps to reduce the swelling.

Now, that you know some quick ways to get rid of those surprise visitors here are five easy ways to keep them at bay. Dab an egg white on your pimple and leave on for at least 20 minutes preferably overnight. Do this two- three times a week. Second, wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This should leave your face oil free without aggravating the acne like soap does. Third, wash you face in cold water then apply vinegar to problem areas such as your nose, t-zone, or chin. Fourth, make a paste by mixing 3 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash it next morning with warm water. Repeat for two weeks, pimples will disappear forever. The fifth way to keep pimples gone is to apply mint juice to your face every night not only will you have a fresh face it will also smell fresh.

Here are my two favorite homemade mask recipes to help keep your face feeling and looking fresh as a daisy. My First mask is to nourish your skin. What you will need is 1 egg, 1 tsp almond oil, and a little half and half. Combine the ingredients and leave on your face for about 15 minutes. Remove with cool water. My second mask is my favorite not just to wear but to eat too. It’s called a facial smoothie. Every kitchen should have a container of plain yogurt and strawberries. Blend 3 tablespoons of yogurt and 3 large strawberries, apply it and then relax for 10 minutes. The yogurt cleans and nourishes and the strawberries helps exfoliate those dead skin cells. Now isn’t this a good reason to plant yourself a strawberry plant next spring?

Getting rid of those pesky pimples doesn’t have to cost you your weight in gold it can be cheap and in most cases free. These simple tips should help everyone have that fresh face that we all so desire. In fact I think right now I’ll go have myself a Facial Smoothie so cheers everyone.
