Bath and Body Works, Signature Collection, Enchanted Orchid Body Lotion

Bath and Body, Bath and Body Works, Bath Body Works, Body Lotions

I’ve been a Bath and Body Works fan for years. Their delicious scents keep me coming back for more and more. Every time there is a newly released scent, I hop my buttocks into my car, and take a trip to my local store.

This weeks new delicious scent was added to their Signature Collection. Granted I’m not much of a huge fan of their Signature Collection (I prefer this Temptations Collection over anything), I was still excited to try this new scent out for myself.

I know this is no shock; but I walked out with a few items from the newest fragrance called Enchanted Orchid. Mind you, I have never been able to smell any fragrance come from a real Orchid plant…but hey, it was still a delicious scent Bath and Body Works packed into plastic. Regardless.

Up on the chopping block today is Enchanted Orchid Body Lotion.

Packaging:

Enchanted Orchid comes in the standard Signature Collection lotion bottle. It’s stand up, has a click up lid for easy application, and sports a glorious photo of pastel pink colored orchid flowers on it’s label.

Scent:

Oh glorious floral notes of violets and iris how you make me want to kiss my skin; with a citrus zing that pops just enough to grace the senses with a spurt of fragrant energy. Best of all though, Enchanted Orchid has a lovely and sexy musky scent that is just dreamy.

I loved, loved, loved the scent. Flowers and musk, making up the perfect combination for sex appeal, and mystery.

Last:

Enchanted Orchid Body Lotion sticks with you. I applied it after a morning shower, and was able to detect the scent for nearly 4 hours afterward. Most scented body lotions don’t last for squat. Enchanted Orchid though sticks around for the majority of the day, which is quite surprising.

Moisturizer?

I wouldn’t necessarily buy Enchanted Orchid if you are looking primarily for a lotion to relieve dry skin. Granted, Enchanted Orchid moisturizes somewhat…but it’s bare minimal, and it does not keep skin moisturized for long periods of time.

Basically, Enchanted Orchid Body Lotion is for scent, and scent only. That could be a good thing for some, and a bad thing for others. Me; all I am ever after is a long lasting scent, so Enchanted Orchid was a pleaser for me.

Recommended Wear:

Enchanted Orchid, in my opinion, is a scent that would wear best on spring and summer nights.

Overall:

Impressed!

Usually Signature Collection new releases fail to impress me, Enchanted Orchid though has a long lasting sultry scent that is sure to please just about anyone.

Pricing and Availability:

Enchanted Orchid can be found at any local Bath and Body Works, or online at the Bath and Body Works website. The price comes to $10.00 for an 8 ounce bottle.
