Negril
Negril is well known for the Seven Mile Beach with its stunning sunset backdrop and its alluring nightlife, fire eaters and many Bob Marley impersonators. However Negril has a charm of its own including an array of places to visit and activities to enjoy. Negril’s attractions include Cousin’s Cove, Grange Hill, Bloody Bay and May Field Falls. There are also many activities in the area such as water rides at the Kool Runnings Water Park, golfing at Negril Hills Golf Club, under water exploration at Riverwalk Ltd, scuba and water sports at Wild Thing Watersports and Negril Scuba Center, art collecting at Ja-Ja Originals Art Gallery and shopping at First Choice Duty Free and Gifts. Dunn’s River Falls
Dunn’s River Falls is a very popular waterfall located near Ocho Rios and it is also known as one of the island’s national treasures. Thousands of tourists visit the falls every year to see the 1,000 feet of water gracefully cascading down tiered-like giant stair steps with small lagoons scattered between the vertical sections of the waterfalls. What makes this attraction interesting is that Dunn’s River Falls is considered by geologists to be a living phenomenon because it is constantly being restored from travertine rock deposits and sodium that comes from the river water and the falls flows directly into the sea. It is considered to be one of the most unique waterfalls in the Caribbean and is a must see for visitors to the island.
